What's wrong with Cutler? Theories abound

FootballOutsiders.com reports: In an article headlined, "What's wrong with Jay Cutler," Greg Cosell of NFL Films and ESPN's "State Farm NFL Matchup" breaks down all the problems bedeviling the Bears quarterback. Some are mechanical, he says, and some are related to the rest of the team's personnel.

Asked about Cutler's recent struggles with deep passes, Cosell says, "He's waiting for the pressure. He's perceiving the pressure now when it's not there because it's happened so often, he's just expecting it to happen."

Chifan, once again you show how much you know nothing about football. Why is it your "winner" Kyle Orton has made Denver's Offense worse than when Jay was running it? When you play from behind int's happen. Look @ Brady mon night against the Saints.
Even though he has idiot teammates he still doesn't throw them under the bus, while he is getting killed behind that line, but yet he divides teams? Wining in football is all on the qb, not on the entire team? So then I ask you chifan, is Trent Dilfer and Brad Johnson better qb's than Fran Tarkenton and Dan Marino because they have superbowl rings and the latter two don't?

hmm,

this is a hard one to figure.

A. Worst Offensive Line In Football
B. Worst Offensive Coodinator in Football
C. Worst Head Coach in Football
D. Worst General Manager in Football
E. Worst Receivers in Football ( with the exception of Johnny Knox )
F. All of the above

Grade and choice "F"

That's why he stinks. as would Peyton Manning, Tom Brady or
Drew Brees if they had this team.

The bigger question is what was ever right with Cutler? Why is anybody surprised by his performance? This IS jay cutler, this is how he plays, this is how he acts, this is how he divides. How can anyone who has watched any amount of football since his arrival in the NFL come to any other conclusion at this point? He is an interception machine, a head-case with a poor attitude, a self-centered egomaniac with poor mechanics that has never engineered a winning season, ever. What the hell did people think we were getting? Oh yeah, I forgot his one and only calling card, a pro-bowl invitation which really amounted to nothing more than a golf foursome who lost a person 5 minutes before tee-time, willing to take just about anybody to round out the team. Geeze, how many times do we in Chicago have to keep hearing the phrase "pro-bowl franchise quarterback"? Keep saying it enough, and I guess it sticks. No wonder snake oil salesman do so well in the windy city.
