The Bulls have cooled off a bit shooting-wise but still lead the Kings 88-69 entering the fourth quarter Monday night at the United Center.
The big lead should allow coach Vinny Del Negro to rest his starters in the fourth quarter with a back-to-back game scheduled Tuesday night in New York against the Knicks.
The Bulls are shooting 51.4 percent after connecting at a sizzling 60.9 percent rate in the first half. Luol Deng leads the Bulls with 25 points, while Derrick Rose has 22.

Ok Stratmaster,
First of all everyone knows how Tyreke Evans who has a fantastic game and he is my nba rookie of the year so far and perhaps will be at the end of the year.
But who the hell is Ime Oduka? He is a small forward who scored 17 points, 3 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 steal in 23 minutes. If you don't think that match up hurt us think again. This kid is only averaging 4 points and 3 rebounds in 15 minutes. He is listed as a small forward but being that he is only 6'5" that tells me he is a shooting guard or only a small forward if he is slow. That being said he is a smallish small forward as our very own Salmons is listed as 6'6". Who would guard him? Obviously Hinrich couldn't and I love Hinrich but he is not a miracle man who is challenged too chase point guards much less a Tyreke Evans who is listed as a 6'6" and is powerful. Yep and thats about the same weight as Ime and 1" taller.
This kid Ime's overall performance burned us pal. The Bulls were expecting Tyreke and held him in check in the first half but even the Bulls know that this kind of talent wasn't going to stay asleep all night. This kid Ime provided enough a distraction and commanded his own attention that lead to Tyreke shooting out of his funk.
Salmons, Rose and Deng were out of breath taking care of their assignments and they had their hands full. Not to mention dealing with a listed small forward who is fresh. And that's the problem all three of these guys were winded. Sacramento made some adjustments and took advantage and we didn't make the moves to adjust and get a breather for our winded players. How you can not do that when you have 30+ lead eludes me. We shouldn't have allowed ourselves to get in that situation in the first place. Watch the game again.
Yea that was one of the worst games in awhile...blowing a 35 point lead is just ridiculous and there really is no excuse for that. New rotation, anyone? START HINRICH
Very embarassing game, it's tuesday im still so down, cant believe, we need new couch, and few new good player AND I MEAN GOOD PLAYERs, this is big shame :((((((((((
I dont know how you keep your job after a Epic choke like this.Up 35 points in the SECOND HALF??? They were up 85-50 WTF?They fired skiles on christmas eve 07 after a bad loss to houston. This is 100x Worse VDN has to go it's totally unacceptable to blow a 35 point 2nd half lead at home against the kings and also losing that game to the nets when they were 1-19 should be means to axe this clown.
Joe, I don't know what the heck you are talking about. The guy that torched the Bulls is a PG out of Memphis, he was the #4 pick in the draft, his name is Tyreke Evans, and he is averaging 20 ppg this year.
I am still trying to absorb how it happened, and I watched the whole damned thing. Other than at the beginning of Q3 when Deng hit a couple of shots he and rose seemed to just disappear in the 2nd half. I am stunned.
Tyreke plays that way game after game.......Rookie of the year!
I will keep this short and sweet... good riddins Vinny Del Negro. This loss against Sacramento after a 30 point lead just signed your release. Yeah go ahead and make some line up changes so you can get a look for later in the season but don't risk the freakin game. Hey when did you start thinking that the situation was getting out of hand? Or did you? Hey Kirk is a decent defensive guard but you can't expect miracles. It was Deng that needed a breather and James Johnson for all his rookiness has the body to jam the court and has a decent offensive game not to mention is a mismatch for the other team you (*))_. No one is scared of HINRICH! and he is no mismatch for anyone...hell point guards like that match up, he is often too slow against them, too small for guards and much too small for small forwards. And that is why we got scorched by a small forward who I don't even know his name and is averaging 3 points and 3 rebounds for the year. He had a career day.. Thanks Vinny del Nobody!!!!!!!!
Couldn't play Johnson, even when the lead was in the 30's. Deng was in for 42 min. How many points in the forth quarter?
Most embarassing bulls game I ever watched they let that tyreke evans dude hit shot after shot down the stretch most of his shots were erratic and bulls could'nt get one stop or rebound.35 point lead wow
LOL
Congratulations to the Bulls on allowing the biggest comeback in NBA history. Vinny better be gone tomorrow.

Vinney, if you cant coach a win with a 35 point lead you need to retire and move into something else.
Forget about resting those starters...
