DALLAS--The Blackhawks are on the ice for warmups in advance of tonight's game against the Stars at American Airlines Center.
This is the second of four meetings between the teams this season. Dallas took the first game 4-3 on Oct. 17 at the United Center. That is just one of four losses at the UC for the Hawks thus far.
The Hawks have had success against the Stars recently as they swept them last season, outscoring Dallas 20-8 in the four games.
Marian Hossa, named to the Slovakian Olympic team Tuesday, leads all Hawks with 15 career points (seven goals, eight assists) in 15 games against the Stars.
Cristobal Huet will start in goal for the Hawks. He is 2-2-2 with a 1.98 goals-against average in his career against the Stars. Defenseman Niklas Hjalmarsson and winger Kris Versteeg return to the lineup after missing the last two games with the flu.
Patrick Kane will be looking for his fourth consecutive game-winning goal. The 21-year-old winger is the first Hawk with three consecutive game-winners since Murray Craven did it in Dec. of 1995. Kane leads the Hawks with five game-winners this season, four this month.
Here are the Hawks' forward lines for tonight:
Brouwer--Toews--Kane
Ladd--Sharp--Hossa
Versteeg--Madden--Byfuglien
Eager--Fraser--Kopecky
