Bears starting right tackle Kevin Shaffer said he was fined $5,000 for a facemask penalty in last Sunday's 31-7 loss to the Ravens. He plans to appeal the fine.
Shaffer was flagged15 yards the fourth-quarter play, but the Ravens declined the penalty.
