Bears-Ravens Game Day: Devin Aromashodu, Anthony Adams to start

BALTIMORE -- Anthony Adams will replace Marcus Harrison at nose tackle and Devin Aromashodu will start at wide receiver in place of the injured Devin Hester today for the Bears against the Baltimore Ravens.

Harrison lost his starting job after taking responsibility for the game-opening, 62-yard touchdown run by Green Bay's Ryan Grant last Sunday, saying he was out of his gap.

Ravens starting free safety Ed Reed. is inactive for today's game, meaning former Buffalo Grove and Notre Dame star Tom Zbikowski is expected to start his third consecutive game. Reed did not practice last week as he continues to heal from both groin and foot injuries.

For the Bears, Hester (calf) and left tackle Orlando Pace (groin) are out, as expected. The other inactives for the Bears are wide receiver Juaquin Iglesias, safety Craig Steltz, cornerback D.J. Moore, tackle James Marten and defensive linemen Matt Toeaina and Jarron Gilbert.

The Ravens will be without receivers Kelley Washington and Mark Clayton as well as safety K.J. Gerard, linebacker Tavares Gooden, guard/center David Hale, and tackle Jared Gaither. Michael Oher, the subject of the movie, "The Blindside.'' will start at left tackle to protect quarterback Joe Flacco's blindside.

And on a final note, let's thank United Airlines, and particularly LaMarkus Jones of the airlines' customer relations department at O'Hare International Airport, for getting Team Tribune to Baltimore in time for the start of today's game.

Who cares? It'll be a blowout. Time to forfeit the rest of the games and get down to business cleaning out this coaching staff.
