Bears receiver Devin Hester is expected to return to full participation in practice today for the first time since suffering a left calf strain against the Rams.
Hester, who missed the last three games, could be back in the mix on kickoff returns, with Johnny Knox (ankle) and Danieal Manning (calf) expected to miss Sunday's season finale at Detroit.
Safety Craig Steltz, who did not practice Wednesday, is expected to be limited today with a foot injury. With Al Afalava still out with a knee bruise, the Bears could have another new look at safety come Sunday. Kevin Payne is back from a sprained ankle, and he might have to pair with Josh Bullocks.
Defensive tackle Tommie Harris (knee) is expected to be limited today as well.

There is only room for one Devin on the Bears and he had a stellar game against the Vikings. If the Bears were smart (and they aren't with Angelo in office), they would trade or cut Hester ASAP.
So just when the offense finally looked great here comes Hester to screw it up again. Please Bears stop making him what he isn't and keep him as a primry KR/PR!!!!
