NBCChicago.com reports: A group calling themselves "BearFansUnited" are calling on the franchise to clean house, demanding the firing of president Ted Phillips, general manager Jerry Angelo and coach Lovie Smith. The disgruntled fans reportedly have raised enough money to pay for a billboard, beginning as soon as Wednesday, advertising their plea on Hinz Road in Arlington Heights.
The group is also collecting donations on BearFansUnited.org for a full-page newspaper ad calling for a Bears' shakeup.

I don't live in Chicago, but I Know this. Soon the Government will tell you what you can spend your money on, so before Anyone says yea/nay let the individuals decide! It's their money, and it will be in our life time that this country will try to be the United States of Socialist America.... It's a Sad thought like our Bears... Everyday money is spent on campaigns that could be used for the needy, well we as Bear Fans could be considered that? I'm doing alright, but Our GOP wants at least 33% and 7% of everthing I buy. Yea I donated money to the movement! And I know there’s more important stuff to worry about like how much it’s going to cost us to bail out the banks and auto companies,
But they don’t make me PROUD to say I’m a Chicagoan!! The BEARS represent NOT the only the Halas family (PAPA) but the city, the people of chicago and the GREAT players who gave up their blood sweat and tears for THE BEARS and the NFL. So if giving some money up for cause is crazy then I’m full blown CUCKOO!!!!!!

We work hard and don't appreciate people getting on a high horse telling us what to do with our money.

I can't understand why anyone would find it important to spend their money on this; isn't your hard-earned cash worth more to you? Beyond that, what do the Bears have to do with any of you?
I grew up with Bears in a family that had season tickets for 50 years. Loved them so much as a grade schooler I memorized the program down to which player had an allergy to bee stings. It was fun. Then I grew up. If they play well, I enjoy it. If they stop playing well, I may get a little frustrated. But then I move on to my other interests. I don't call into sports radio ranting and claiming to know everything about everyone and I certainly don't throw money away on a billboard no one at Bears HQ cares about!
Find something else that rewards you. Move on. Get A Life!!

If you REALLY want to send a message why not boycott the game next Monday night?
Just imagine how embarrassing it would be for the entire organization to have a game, with a division rival, on national TV, with a near empty stadium.

What if this is their beer money they saved from not watching bears games that they are donating to the improve team cause? Had the Bears done good this money would of been donated to Miller, Budweiser, Corona, Woodchuck Beer
and or your lucky neighborhood bar thus supporting the economy in full
Too see the Bears lose in this manner puts me in a deep state of clinical depression...I would argue this is a worthwhile cause.
I'm a life long Bears fan and think this is foolishness. It's a sports team. How about using your money and time to HELP people in need. Real need.
