Yankees put Sabathia ahead, again

PHILADELPHIA -- CC Sabathia couldn't hold the first two-run lead his Yankee teammates gave him. So they gave him another one.

After the Phillies tied the score 2-2 in the bottom of the fourth, the Yankees went ahead 4-2 with two in the top of the fifth. Joe Blanton's leadoff walk of Nick Swisher opened the door for a rally that saw New York score on a single to left by Derek Jeter and a bloop to right by Johnny Damon. Sabathia went to the mound for the bottom of the inning having thrown 66 pitches in four innings.
