Kyle Willams, son of White Sox general manager Kenny Williams, caught the tying touchdown pass for Arizona State in a rivalry matchup with Arizona.
On fourth-and-12 from Arizona's 14, ASU QB Danny Sullivan rolled out of the pocket and fired a strike to a diving Williams in the back of the end zone. It was their second scoring connection of the quarter, following a 44-yarder with 11:54 to go.
But a few minutes later, Williams muffed a punt that gave Arizona the ball on the 22-yard line, that set up the game-winning 32-yard field goal as time expired.
The senior wide receiver leads the team in touchdowns, receiving yards and yards per game. His longest punt return entering Saturday's game was 53 yards.
