That ball park is the jinx. I'm a Cub fan and get to many other ball parks, American and National league and Wrigley is a cespool compared to the others. I hate that park and the Cubs would do much better in something better that it is.

Tom Ricketts wants to improve Cubs, Wrigley bathrooms

thanks for sharing

Why not just serve the food in the bathroom?

Win-win.

Mr. Ricketts you seem like a nice guy but your comments last night with Dan jiggets and Mike North praising your current manager LOUSY LOU and head case Hendry made me wonder if you have watched any games this year or saw all the discision errors your GM made. At 1st I was enthusiastic in getting a new owner, But it seems you will be like all the others staying with what you got and praising a BAD duo like lou and Hendry,, HIRE Bob Brenly as manager NOW and hire STeve Stone as GM NOW.. Make the off season exiting.. IM tired of all of LOU slowness in reacting to situations and never never trying to get an early lead with men on third in the 1st inning and never bunting.. SO mant games were lost by 1 run , it made me sick to watch... I dont know how many times I turned the Cubs off becasue of LOU

Ivy, Mr. Ricketts said in the press conference his family had that he has talked with management of Fenway Park at least 8 times on how to improve and enhance an original park.

I'm sure he got a lot of good information and advice.

Is Rico a cubs or suxs fan? I mean he talks about the cubs ticket and putting a good team and then he writes go white suxs! I'm confuse. Any ways Thank lord jesus for the potential upgrade bathrooms and food in wrigley field.

Why do you assume that just because he wants to improve Wrigley itself that he does not want to improve the team too? There's nothing that says if you fix the toilets you cannot sign any free agents. Just let the guy get to work before you start ripping into him for something you imagined.

Plus, have any of you actually been to Wrigley Field in the past 20 years? Wrigley does have the charm of an old ballpark, but let's be honest here, it is also a dump! The least they could do is to give it 21st Century plumbing! And if by improving the food selection you can increase revenue then I say have at it.

Welcome to reality, Mr. Ricketts. As an Ameritrade account owner, I wish you well. As a Cub fan since watching them clinch the penmnant in '45, I wish you Godspeed. Sellouts for the past zillion seasons says one thing and probably amnother to you and the great family Ricketts. Use your good business sense to focus the energy from Boise to Chicago teams. Shake 'em up a bit. I know when with Whirlpool corp. for years that chairman Bud Gray got results by periodically shaking up the senior managers. Keep everyone focused on the mission. The World Series in one thing, being competitive as hell is another. I;ll take the latter anyday, hoping to add the icing on the cake with a WS win.

I think Mr. Ricketts needs to talk to some of the folks on the business side who have been there for decades. There is a reason the food choices are what they are or they would have been upgraded a long time ago. It's called not enough space. I think that is the same reason there aren't more restrooms in the ballpark.

They had better not replace the trough urinals. The Wrigley mens rooms never have lines because of those. It may not be the most civilized system, but it's certainly the most efficient.

attn: Ricketts Family. Glad Cub fans finally own the team. Any true Cub fan does not care about FOOD & BATHROOMS. We've been parking 1 mile away and using the trough facilities for our entire lives. The hot dogs are fine. We don't come there to dine. GIVE US A WINNER THAT IS ALL THAT MATTERS.
Thanks.

I lived in Chicago lots of years and don't remember ever meeting more than 2 or 3 White Sox fans. But yes, they're always first to comment on anything 'cub'

White Sox fans keep laughing, now the Cubs have an owner who wants to win and a top 3 payroll along with an improved farm system=winning org. We shall see...the 100 year thing doesnt bother me..the only year that matters is this and the next.

damn you would think white sox fans would leave the cubs site alone just because there field is ghetto haha. your a white sox fan but yet you keep coming to the CUBS site.... the most popular baseball team in the league tho i guess that does that to people.

No surprise. First post here is a White Sox fan.

what?

Are you serious?

Better food and bathrooms?

How about upgrading the team roster now! Keeping the payroll high doesn't mean anything, its the QUALITY PLAYERS you pay.

KEEP MY TICKETS PRICES HIGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Another 100 years, sit on your rooftops!

GO WHITE SOX!!!!!!!
