The Los Angeles Times reports: Mavericks owner Mark Cuban, who had interest in buying the Cubs, said he would consider buying the Dodgers.
"I'm not a fan of debt-driven acquisitions," Cuban wrote in an e-mail to the newspaper. "If a unique situation came up where I could contribute capital to buy out a majority shareholder and gain control, with existing shareholders or note holders staying in place, I would consider it."
Cuban had a flirtation with buying the Cubs in 2009, but backed off saying he wasn't sure how much the team was worth in a souring economy.
