The Naples Daily News reports: Are the Cubs upping the pressure on Mesa, Ariz., to come up with a better plan for the team's spring training facility?
The answer could be found in Tom Ricketts' scheduled visit to Naples, Fla., on Dec. 1, as reported by the Naples Daily News. Ricketts is expected to be joined by team president Crane Kenney to discuss that city's proposals.
The paper reported that Naple's project could include a 15,000-seat stadium, with team offices on site. The Cubs can leave Mesa in 2012.
