MINNEAPOLIS -- The Bears will be catching Brett Favre at the top of his game next Sunday.

Favre added a few more records to his overcrowded resume today, completing a career-best 88 percent of his passes for Minnesota against Seattle. He was replaced by Tarvaris Jackson late in the third quarter with the Vikings en route to a 35-9 victory.

Favre went 22 for 25 to also set Minnesota's single-game franchise record for completion percentage. Randall Cunningham held the previous mark, 84 percent in 1998 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Favre also had his 22nd career four-touchdown passing game, passing Dan Marino for most in NFL history.

Favre was shown on the videoboard as his records were announced, and the crowd started chanting, "M-V-P!"

The Bears visit Minnesota at 3:15 next Sunday and host the Vikings on Dec. 28.

In other NFC North games today:

*Aaron Rodgers made San Francisco pay for a draft-day snub in 2005 and the Packers survived a second-half surge by the 49ers for a 30-24 victory in Green Bay.

Rodgers threw touchdowns to Greg Jennings and Jordy Nelson, and Ryan Grant rushed for 129 yards and a score. The Packers (6-4) won their second straight game, rebounding from a midseason skid to emerge as a solid playoff contender going into their Thanksgiving Day date at Detroit.

*An ailing Matthew Stafford threw his fifth touchdown pass from 1 yard to Brandon Pettigrew, and Jason Hanson's extra point with no time on the clock gave the Detroit Lions a thrilling 38-37 win over the visiting Cleveland Browns.
