Illini to go with Williams at QB for final 2 games

By Shannon Ryan

After sitting out due to an injury against Northwestern, Illinois quarterback Juice Williams will return to the starting role again for his final two games of the season.

Williams, a senior, did not play in Saturday's loss as a precautionary measure because of a sprained left ankle, although coach Ron Zook said Williams likely could have played. After a bye week, the Illini expect Williams to lead them against Cincinnati and Fresno State.

"I think we owe Juice more than that," Zook said. "He's a warrior, a fighter and he's ready to go."
