It doesn't completely make up for his fifth-place finish among voting by the Baseball Writers Association of America, but Sox second baseman Gordon Beckham was named to the Topps trading card all rookie team.
Beckham was also named the Sporting News rookie of the year.
The recently traded Chris Getz, who went to Kansas City in the Mark Teahen deal, was also named to the Topps team.
