More Breaking Sports:

Game day at Ryan Field

By Teddy Greenstein

Not much to report here at sun-splashed Ryan Field, and that's a good thing for a Northwestern team that has had too many late scratches and game-day decisions because of player injuries.

The only notable personnel change is at weak-side linebacker, where Bryce McNaul will start in place of David Arnold, who left last week's game with a concussion. Arnold is fine and will play today, but he was limited in practice this week.

So McNaul, a Minnesota native whose best friend (linebacker Blake Sorensen) plays for the Badgers, will get the start.
