Former Bull Curry now in D-League

With the 14th pick in the 2009 NBA D-League Draft Thursday night, the Sprinfield Armor selected JamesOn Curry, the former Bulls' second-round draft choice.

"I come to play," he said. "Whatever coach needs, I'll do it, because good things come when you have dedication and prepare as hard as you can."

In 2008, while property of the Bulls and playing in Iowa, Curry was arrested on public urination charges. Before that, in 2004, Curry plead guilty to six felony drug counts after selling marijuana to an undercover police officer. The 2004 incident resulted in his scholarship to North Carolina being revoked, and eventually landed him with Oklahoma State.
