Devin Hester misses Bears practice with ankle injury, hopes to return soon

Bears receiver Devin Hester had a noticeable limp from an ankle injury and was sidelined for Wednesday's practice.

``Just a little swollen,'' Hester said. ``I'll be ready.''

He banged up his ankle following a screen pass in last Sunday's 30-6 win over the Browns but apparently played through the pain. After Hester got tackled, the defender landed on his ankle.

Tommie Harris (knee), Adewale Ogunleye (ankle), Craig Steltz (biceps), Matt Toeaina (calf), Greg Olsen (ankle), and Lance Briggs (shoulder) were all limited with ankle injuries.
