Class 2A football: Morrison looking for first title

CHAMPAIGN--The Morrison Mustangs (13-0) will try for the school's first football state championship in its first appearance today as they are set to go against Maroa-Forsyth in the Class 2A title game.

Morrison is led by all-state running back Josh Vos, who has run for 1,943 yards and 28 touchdowns.

Maroa-Forsyth (11-2) is led by quarterback Logan Stelzriede, who has 1,522 yards and 15 TDs passing. Receiver Wyatt Washburn has 1,044 receiving yards and 15 TDs.

Maroa won its only state title in 2006.
