Yes, it's only the first quarter.

Cincinnati quarterback Tony Pike passed for 139 yards and two touchdowns in his first game back from an arm injury and Mardy Gilyard ran back a kick return 90 yards to take an early 21-7 lead against Illinois.

Illinois grabbed a 7-0 lead with a 21-yard pass from Juice Williams to Fred Sykes. But the Illini could do little after that.

The Illini were unable to contain tight end Ben Guidugli, who scored on a 59-yard reception for a 14-7 lead.
