Tyrus Thomas has a removable splint that runs the length of his entire left arm, but that isn't limiting his recovery from the fractured radius in his left forearm.
Thomas has been cleared to run and bike and stay in condition as he recovers from the injury, which has been surgically repaired.
"I'm doing something every day," Thomas said. "I'm not worried about staying in shape. Obviously, game shape is something different. But I should be alright."
The Bulls estimated Thomas would miss four to six weeks with the injury, which he suffered on Nov. 6.

Someone has to take Tyrus Thomas aside and tell him this would be a perfect time to work on a back to the basket shot like a hook shot with his good hand. 4 to 6 weeks of shooting right handed hooks shots for 2 hours a day would see him develop something of a post game. Please someone get in his ear and tell him this.
I'm also looking forward toward Thomas' return.
Even if he has the IQ of a grapefruit.
God, I hope Tyrus Thomas shut these doubters the heck down. I know he can be more effective than the Rook.
