Bolland sits as Blackhawks get back to work

The Blackhawks are back on the ice after a day off and all hands are on deck except for Dave Bolland.

The center, who missed Friday night's 4-3 shootout loss to the Colorado Avalanche, didn't practice with teammates Sunday at the United Center as he battles a bad back.

Jonathan Toews was centering a line with Dustin Byfuglien and Patrick Sharp, a good indicator the captain will play Monday night when the Hawks host the Los Angeles Kings. Toews hasn't played since suffering a concussion Oct. 21 after being checked hard at center ice by the Vancouver Canucks' Willie Mitchell.

Ben Eager also could play after missing 13 consecutive games with a concussion. Eager skated on a line with center Colin Fraser and fellow winger Andrew Ebbett during Sunday's practice.

Great. Too bad I am a DirecTV customer and won't get to see it. They they still cannot get together with Comcast Sports about Versus. Keep screwing your customers, it is the American Way.
