Blackhawks lose to Kings 2-1 in shootout

LOS ANGELES -- The Blackhawks concluded their six-game road trip with a 2-1 defeat to the Kings in a shootout Saturday night at the Staples Center.

Anze Kopitar and Jack Johnson scored in the shootout for the Kings.

Jonathan Toews had a third-period goal for the Hawks while Wayne Simmonds scored in the second for the Kings.
