The Blackhawks held practice Tuesday afternoon at Johnny's Ice House and Dave Bolland wasn't on the ice as he remains sidelined with a back injury. Bolland has missed two consecutive games and three contests overall with the injury that has plagued him all season.
Coach Joel Quenneville said Monday that Bolland remains "day-to-day" but the longer he remains sidelined the more possiblity that the team will have to shut the center down and consider surgery to correct the problem.
The Hawks spent a lot of Tuesday's practice working on the power play, which came alive with two goals during the Hawks' 4-1 victory over the Los Angeles Kings on Monday night. The Hawks next host the Colorado Avalanche on Wednesday night.
