Bengals' Benson could play, Broncos' Orton will start

ESPN.com reports: Former Bear Cedric Benson practiced on Wednesday, but was limited with sprained hip muscles sustained in Week 10.

Bengals coach Marvin Lewis said that Benson is "very close" and might be able to play against the Browns, a team he ran over last year. Benson had a career-high 38 carries for 171 yards in a 14-0 victory in Cleveland last December in a zero wind chill.

Also in former ex-Bears news, Broncos quarterback Kyle Orton is expected to start on Thursday vs. the Giants. Orton missed the second half of a loss against the Redskins and the first quarter of a loss against San Diego last week.
