NEW YORK -- CC Sabathia's first pitch of the World Series to Jimmy Rollins was a 92-mph fastball that Jimmy Rollins bunted too hard up the first-base line, making an out.

The game started on time, after a pregame ceremony in which Yogi Berra threw out the first pitch. Berra went to the mound accompanied by Michell Obama and Jill Biden. Game-time temperature was 52 degrees.
