Blackhawks lead Wild 2-0 after two periods

Neither team was able to generate much offense during the second period as the Blackhawks hold a 2-0 lead over the Minnesota Wild at the United Center on Monday night.

After Dave Bolland and Troy Brouwer scored in the first for the Hawks, the goaltenders and defenses clamped down in the second.

For a guy who supposedly lost his confidence earlier this month, Cristobal Huet is looking very good in goal for the Hawks. Coming off his first shutout of the season Wednesday against the Nashville Predators, Huet has stopped all 16 Wild shots.
