NASHVILLE--The Blackhawks had their two-game winning streak snapped as they fell 2-0 to the Nashville Predators at the Sommet Center on Thursday night.
Predators goalie Pekka Rinne out-dueled Hawks net-minder Cristobal Huet to drop the Hawks' record to 7-4-1 on the season.
Joel Ward and Jerred Smithson scored for the Predators.
After the game, the Hawks traveled back to Chicago where they will face the Montreal Canadiens in an Original Six matchup Friday night at the United Center.
