Bears defensive tackle Tommie Harris, who was benched for last Sunday's game against the Bengals, finally addressed the media and vowed to return to form against the Browns.
Asked what he had to show coach Lovie Smith to get back on the field, Harris responded without hesitation.
"I don't have to show him anything," Harris said. "He knows what I can do. Everybody knows what I can do. I don't have to prove anything to anybody.
"I prove it to myself. I owe it to my teammates. I owe it to this organization to get back to tip-top shape."
Harris said he felt "great" Friday following a full week of practice. He said his knee was never an issue.

Harris has been talking and that is all since he signed the big contract. What the hell has he done for last 2 years? Absolutely nothing but talk about how good he is going to play and prove everyone wrong. After 2 years time to get off the pot home boy and do something or else go home to Texas.

Tommie Harris... how naive can one guy be? How pathetic has he become? YOU have everything in the world to prove my friend. YOU need a serious attitude adjustment. YOU have the ability to play the most amazing game in the world and yet you take it for granted....You are one of the most disappointing Bear players I can remember in a long time because at one time you were so dominating and now with your attitude, I would rather have you off the team...
